Personal Finance Week in Review for August 17

by Sean Bryant on August 17, 2012

Two weeks from today I will be hopping on a plane and heading back to Chicago for the long Labor Day weekend.  My wife and I have tickets to watch our Alma Mater, the University of Iowa, play Northern Illinois at Soldier Field in the opening weekend of college football.  Sure is hard to believe that is already football season, but I am really excited.  This is one of my favorite times of year.

I can’t believe that #FINCON12 is only 19 days away.  I am so excited to get the chance to meet all the awesome bloggers and companies that I have been working with.  If you are heading to Denver I will be taking a group of people to the Great Divide brewery tour on Thursday September 6 at 2:30PM.  If you enjoy a good beer then come along and say hi.

Thanks for the mention Sean. It’s too bad I won’t be going to FinCon this year. It would be great to meet you and all the other financial bloggers. 2013 for sure though.

Thanks for the link love! I really wish I could have justified the trip for FinCon but I decided to book a seminar on the 6th and a few more the following week so it just didn’t work out. I’ll try to make it a priority next year (assuming that I’m still blogging at that time). I hope it goes well!
