Winter sports are officially underway here in Colorado as the Arapaho Basin became the first mountain to open up for the 2012 season.  With Baby Bryant only days away (hopefully) it will be a month or so until I will be my first day on the mountain.

Last night was a miserable night for any fellow Iowa Hawkeye football fans as we got hammered by Penn State.  Hopefully next week will bring better luck.  Now let’s move on to some of my favorite personal finance articles from the past week.  Want to see your article on this list?  It’s simple, just include me in your round-up. 🙂

  1. Looked like a tough loss. Thankfully my Cats were able to thump WVU. 🙂 Exciting times waiting for the first little one! Thanks for the mention.

  2. I can’t believe A-Basin is open already! I’ve never skiied there, but my husband used to and said it’s COLD. A cold front is moving through next week, so Wolf Creek could open before Halloween if they get the snow. We usually go to Telluride and they never open until the week of Thanksgiving, but I’m not really ready to ski yet anyway. Thanks for the mention. I’m sorry left you off my list this week. There’s aways someone I forget. Need to make a list. I’ll make it up next week!

  3. Thanks for including us and I hope to be hearing that Baby Bryant is here very soon! Good luck and keep us posted :).
