Personal Finance Week in Review for July 15

by Sean Bryant on July 15, 2012

This is going to be short this week because I have a pretty busy day ahead of me.  I am about to head out on my bike to do a 40 or 50 mile ride.  I am riding in RAGBRAI, which is a bike ride across Iowa, and I am in some desperate need of some training rides.

Once I get back from doing that it’s on to finishing up painting the nursery.  While I hate painting there is something quite good at the end of that tunnel.

So how was everyones Friday the 13th?  Anything interesting happen to you?

    Thanks for the love Sean!
Good luck in your bike ride!

Thanks for the mention Sean. That’s awesome that you’re about to do such a long bike ride. I’m sure it will be a blast. It’ll be nice to get away from your computer and the paint fumes in your nursery.

It was nice to get out. It was 100 degrees here so I probably picked the wrong day to do a ride with some decent mountain climbs. Oh well :-)

My wife is due on October 28 so we have some time still. I’m going to be stressed out enough in October that I don’t need that on top of it haha

  • Mycanuckbuck

Wow – can’t imagine biking that far! It’s good to have a stress outlet. :) Nothing interesting on Friday the 13th – which is good, I guess.

    • Sean @ One Smart Dollar

yeah it’s a great way to burn stress. I use snowboarding to do it in the winter :-)

That’s a long bike ride!!! How many days does the ride last?

    Thanks for the mention too!

    • Sean @ One Smart Dollar

I am actually only going to do two days of it this year. I wish I had the time to do it all. One of the days is 77 miles and the other is 45. Its a fun ride because towns along the way go all out. Food, beer and everything in between

Holy cow, that’s a long bike ride. Hope everything went well! As for my Friday the 13th it was so awesome…was at Disneyland =) Nothing bad happened there! Thanks for the inclusion!! I need to get back to a regular posting schedule but once I do, you’ll be up on my favorites of course.
