Personal Finance Week in Review for August 12

I can’t believe that we are already nearly half way through August.  Where has this summer gone?  I guess my wife and I have been so busy with the baby planning and also have been out of town for a couple different weeks.  I guess time really flies when you’re having fun.

It’s finally starting to cool down here in Denver.  The past couple of days it has only been around 90 and not 100 like it has been for most of the summer.  I got away for the afternoon on Friday and went up in the mountains for a bike ride where it was about 20 degrees cooler.  Sure can’t complain about that.  While I was up there I found out that its only 84 days until I will be able to strap on the snowboard again for the 2012-13 season.  I can’t wait.

Maybe this will be the winter that I finally get back into skiing. They have been sitting in my closet just collecting dust, but I really miss being up on the mountain.

      One of the most relaxing times for me is when I am by myself on the ski life heading up. I love it.

      Most likely fake but it’s tough to say. We had a couple nice storms in October last year. I’ll take fake or real as long as I’m out there :-)

      She is due October 28. We are both super excited. Starting to get nervous though. We have got a lot accomplished ahead of time so were not rushing at the end. Nursery is pretty much all set up already.
